Cookie season is all year round in our house! Although we do love to make a few special ones around the holidays, such as these peanut butter blossom cookies!
We love making cookies and keeping them in the freezer to pull out whenever we need something sweet! Some of our favorites are cranberry white chocolate chip cookies or apple cinnamon oatmeal cookies!
I always fall back on my classic chocolate chips cookies! They baked up quick and easy!
HOW TO MAKE PEANUT BUTTER BLOSSOM COOKIES!
Ingredients:
- Peanut Butter: I always use creamy but you can experiment with crunchy peanut butter!
- Egg: Use this to help bind your cookies together!
- Granulated Sugar: This adds some sweetness to the cookies!
- Chocolate Kisses: These add that special touch to a classic peanut butter cookie!
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 350F.
- In a large bowl, stir together the sugar, peanut butter, and egg until smooth.
- Scoop one tablespoon sized balls onto a baking sheet and flatten them slightly (to about ยพโ thick).
- Bake for 12-14 minutes or until they are golden brown around the edges, but still soft in the middle.
- Immediately when the cookies come out of the oven, push a chocolate kiss into the center of each one.
- Allow the cookies to cool fully before enjoying or storing.
- Store any leftover cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two days.
RECIPE NOTES:
Peanut butter is the base of our cookie– it adds moisture, richness, and the peanut flavor.
Sugar sweetens our cookies and gives them structure.
Egg binds the cookie together.
Chocolate kisses make these a classic peanut butter blossom, rather than regular peanut butter cookies!
