I don’t always eat breakfast first thing in the morning but when donuts are involved, I’m there!
Awhile back I was looking for donuts I could make for the family that didn’t have a lot of sugar.
I stumbled across a few recipes but there was on that was just almond flour, maple syrup and extracts.
That seemed easy enough, so I gave it a try.
The donuts were pretty spongy and the maple syrup really shined through but I thought about working the recipe a little and this is what I got!
It literally takes all of 20 minutes to have donuts, a few minutes more if you want to add the glaze, but hello! The glaze is so worth it!
I have made these three times in the last week and they really do not last long in the our house!
