HOW TO MAKE STRAWBERRY COBBLER?
First you want to melt your butter. The original recipe stated to melt the butter in the dish. I just did mine in the microwave. It was super simple to do it this way.
The second part is to make your crust. Once you make it, you are going to pour it over the butter that is in the baking dish.
INGREDIENTS:
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 cups frozen or fresh strawberries, sliced in half
- 3/4 cup all purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 3/4 cup milk
DIRECTIONS:
- Preheat oven to 350 โ. Spray 9X13 baking dish with non stick cooking spray. Set aside.
- Melt butter and pour into baking dish.
- In small bowl add strawberries and 1/4 cup sugar. Mix together and set aside.
- In small bowl add flour, baking powder, 1/2 cup sugar and milk. Whisk together until liquid is smooth.
- Pour flour mixture into baking dish over butter.
- Place strawberries over flour mixture. DO NOT STIR. Just make sure strawberries are in an even layer.
- Bake for 40-50 minutes or until golden brown and strawberries are bubbling.
- Remove from oven and allow to cook for 5 minutes.
- Serve warm and ENJOY!

Very similar to an old NPR recipe for southern peach cobbler that I’ve made many times. Easy and delicious!
