Delicious and easy Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread! Moist and tender, this bread is filled with warm spices and rich chocolate!
Adding chocolate chips to any bread is such a good idea! I really love pumpkin and chocolate chips together, so I knew I need to make this ASAP!

If you follow me on social media, you might of seen that we moved! It’s been super crazy, especially during a pandemic, but I will say that keeping quick breads and muffins in my freezer has been a lifesaver!
I baked a few breads and muffins before we moved and just transported them from one place to another in my cooler! It worked perfectly! We always had something to snack on or eat for breakfast while we were settling and trying to find bowls and spoons!
HOW TO MAKE CHOCOLATE CHIP PUMPKIN BREAD:
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- ยพ teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger and nutmeg
- ยฝ cup sugar
- ยผ cup brown sugar
- 1 cup pumpkin
- ยผ cup vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup chocolate chips
DIRECTIONS:
- Preheat oven to 350 and prepare 9ร5 inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl mix together sugar, brown sugar, oil, eggs and vanilla.
- Stir in pumpkin.
- Add flour, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg. Stir well till incorporated.
- Stir in chocolate chips until incorporated.
- Pour into loaf pan.
- Bake for 50- 60 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Cool before removing from pan. Cut and ENJOY!
How long does it take to bake?
This is going to vary on your oven. I have a gas oven, which tends to bake my breads quicker than an electric oven. So if you have a gas oven, I would start looking at your bread around the 45 minute mark. If you have an electric oven, I would start looking at it around the 55 minute mark.
This is one of the biggest complaints that I get, about it taking longer to bake bread. Again, it will always depend on your oven.
