Berry Pecan Oatmeal will warm the belly and satisfy you with each bite!
My kids, especially during the winter months, love to eat a quick and easy warm breakfast. Oatmeal is one of the breakfast items they grab for over and over. I am always thinking of ways to try to mix it up a little and this time I added berries and pecans. It a good for you type breakfast that definitively keeps them moving throughout their morning.
Sometimes breakfast can be so boring in our house. Don’t let me start talking about my own breakfast issues, but the kids have no problem heading straight for the pantry when they wake up. The problems with the morning time is that my 6 year old leaves the house a little after 7 so by the time we get her up in the morning there is actually not a lot of time for breakfast. So for her it needs to be fast and good. Enter in oatmeal. I tend to always buy the quick oats because I know she can have a bowl of hot cereal in a matter of minutes which works perfect for our schedule. She loves to top it with fruit and I threw some nuts in this just for added flavor.
I picked up all of my ingredients at my Target location. Now I big puffy heart Target and head there once a week for various items I need. The fact that my location has groceries in it makes it even better! So head on over to your local Target to find some Quaker Oats Oatmeal! They have a pretty cool winter packaging going on right now as well for a Limited Time Only! ENJOY!

Kacey @ The Cookie Writer
I have never been a breakfast person, but my daughter immediately wants a meal as soon as she wakes up! She loves our homemade oatmeal, but I will have to give this one a try since we usually make ours with water instead of dairy.
Nancy P.
Our daughters would definitely get along!

My kids love oatmeal for breakfast, too, and I know they would gobble this up! I’ve never thought to put pecans in my oatmeal, and now I’m wondering why on earth I haven’t! They are by far the best nut. 🙂
