Around here I don’t normally make holiday specific treats. On occasion I will try my hand in it but more times than none, I don’t. Well the kids have been wanting cookies so I thought this would be a fun time to step it up a notch and really make them a cookie!
I took my favorite classic chocolate chip cookies recipes and decreased the flour just a little before I made the cake! That was pretty much the only alteration I made. I also decided to go with dark chocolate chips because they are my hubby’s favorite type of chocolate!
Cookie cakes are so fun! And kind of stress free. Basically you just need to put your dough together, place it in a cake pan and bake! I decided to add some frosting to mine for decoration and of course lots of sprinkles!
