Ingredients

  • 8 ounces butter ( 1 stick) room temperature
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon sprinkles

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 ° F. Spray 9 inch heart shaped or round cake pan with non stick cooking spray. Set aside.
  • In mixing bowl add butter, brown sugar and sugar. Whisk till incorporated.
  • Whisk in egg and vanilla.
  • Stir in flour, baking soda, and cinnamon till combined.
  • Stir in dark chocolate chips and sprinkles.
  • Spread out evenly in cake pan.
  • Bake for 15 minutes. Serve warm and ENJOY!

Notes

OPTIONAL INGREDIENTS AND DIRECTIONS FOR BUTTERCREAM:
  1. 8 ounces butter, ( 1 stick) room temperature
  2. 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  3. 1/4 drop red gel food coloring
Mix butter till creamy. Slowly add in powdered sugar till combined. Using a toothpick add gel food coloring. Mix. Place in piping back with a 1M star tip. Pipe onto cake.
