Granola happens to be one of their favorite snacks! We make this maple cinnamon granola pretty often! Actually my preteen is the one who makes it! She has kids at school request it, so it’s all up to her to make it for them!
How to make Peanut Butter Granola?
Ingredients:
- old fashioned oats. Quick oats do not work in this recipes.
- maple syrup. You could use honey but it might burn your granola when baking it.
- peanut butter. I haven’t tried any other types of nut butters but I will!
- canola oil. The canola oil is what helps get this granola crispy.
- peanuts. This is really optional but it’s a nice added crunch to the granola.
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix all ingredients in a medium size bowl.
- Spread evenly on baking sheet.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes or until edges start to turn golden brown.
- Remove from oven and let it rest for 10 minutes.
- Break apart and ENJOY!
