Super simple and festive Firecracker Muddy Buddies!
Hey all! I am back here this Sunday with another post with Sunday Supper! This week we are focusingย on easy to make โAll-Americanโ recipes! Hence the Firecracker Muddy Buddies!
Now you may call them puppy chow, but where I am from they are muddy buddies!
You might also think that the shape of these are a little off from your traditional favorite snack. Well there is a lovely blogger, Gloria from Simply Gloria who makes her snacks with bugles. I always wanted to give them a try! This seemed like the perfect time to do that! Hope you enjoy!

Uisng jello is such a fun idea! I never would have thought of that, but it’s such a great way to add flavor and color.

Bugles!!!! Well, that brings me right back to my childhood. I’ve never had muddy buddies before but I can see these being very addictive. How do you stop from eating the whole batch in one sitting? LOL Cheers and thanks for the sharing!
Hezzi-D
Great idea to use Bugles and Jello to make these!
Carlee
What a fun looking treat! Using bugles is a great idea. I would imagine it has a bit of that salty sweet taste that is so good!
Lauren @ Sew You Think You Can Cook
Such a fun idea! I’ve been seeing this trend of using jello mix to color foods instead of dye and I love it – fool proof.

This looks soo good. I love Bugles but hardly ever buy them because I end up eating far to many of them at once.
Thank you for sharing this with us on the #HomeMattersParty. We hope to see you again when we open our doors on Friday at 12 AM EST.
