If you can’t tell by now, I am an air fryer fanatic! I just love how I can pop pretty much anything into it and it cooks up nicely!
HOW TO MAKE AIR FRYER BRUSSELS SPROUTS
Ingredients:
- Brussels Sprouts. The star of the side dish! Make sure to pick large ones.
- Extra-virgin olive oil. This helps make them crispy.
- Parmesan. Taste so good with the Brussels sprouts.
- Salt and pepper. Not a whole lot needed here, just for taste.
- Onion powder. I just like how this gives it a little extra flavor!
- Minced garlic. Huge fan of minced garlic in practically anything!
- Crispy cooked Bacon (optional) and more parmesan for garnish
Directions:
- In a medium bowl add trimmed Brussel sprouts and season with salt, pepper, onion powder along with 1 tablespoon oil.
- IF your Air Fryer preheats then: Preheat air fryer to 400 Fahrenheit according to manufacturer instructions.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with vegetable oil (not essential and you can get away with only 1 tablespoon of oil that was added to Brussel sprouts before but spraying does ensure better cooking and a more crisp texture in the end) and add the vegetables.
- Air fry for 5 minutes.
- Shake and gently stir, add parmesan and fry for another 5-6 minutes until charred and crisp. If using fresh garlic add it here now. IF you didn’t preheat your air fryer you may need to add an additional 5 minutes.
- Serve with more parmesan on top.
