Happy Sunday folks! Just popping in here really quickly to share with you this Lemon and Sage Fish!
We are big fish eaters in our house, how about you?
Let me back up a second, all of us except my 4 year old loves fish. She apparently is revolted by any kind of fish.
It is super strange too because from a young age we would feed it to her but nope not now! She will not touch it!
The rest of us love all sorts of fish, salmon, tuna, and shrimp. Our favorite is this easy creamy shrimp pasta or these tuna quinoa patties! So good!
There is occasion where she will eat shrimp but she has even stopped that for the most part!
So when I received a copy of Joanna Cismaru’s (Jo Cooks Blog) book 30-Minute One-Pot Meals I spent a lot of time flipping through the pages to see what I wanted to make.
The Panfried Tilapia with Lemon Butter Sauce jumped out at me! It looked marvelous and I knew the fish lovers in my house would really enjoy it! Of course I didn’t have tilapia in the freezer so I just used the white fish that I had and used sage instead of parsley because it came fresh from my garden!
The dish was super easy to make and went really fast! I actually ended up making two pans of this to feed my family because I knew one would not be enough for them!
The sauce over the fish with the lemon, garlic and butter was perfect!
The lemons that I used came from Limoneira! They were the biggest boldest lemons I had ever seen! Just gorgeous and the flavor was perfect for this Lemon and Sage Fish!
