If you are like me and live in a cold place you thrive on hot drinks during the winter!
One of my favorites is homemade hot chocolate! I love to cozy up on the couch in front of the tv with a warm glass of this delicious drink!
To make this drink you will only need a few ingredients!
HOW TO MAKE HOT CHOCOLATE:
- I use a very simple homemade recipe to make the hot chocolate!
- any flavor will do but I am in love with this salted caramel hot chocolate recipe!
- you can definitely make this in the microwave but I don’t have one anymore so I had to go with the stove top version!
- No need to only use marshmallows, whipped cream works well too!
- 3 tablespoons homemade cocoa mix
- 2 cups milk
- 3 tablespoons Torani Salted Caramel Syrup
- caramel sauce, optional for drizzle
- sea salt, optional for sprinkling
- 2 splash of Torani Salted Caramel Syrup
- In medium pot add milk and 3 tablespoons Torani Salted Caramel Syrup. Heat until almost simmering.
- Whisk in cocoa mix until smooth and creamy.
- Pour into glasses. Add a splash of Torani Salted Caramel Syrup into each glass. Coat rim with caramel and sea salt. Top with marshmallows or whipped cream.
- Serve and ENJOY!
For Homemade Cocoa Mix: 3 Cups Sugar 2 Cups Baking Cocoa. Whisk together and store in a airtight container
