Last week I talked with you guys about Box Tops for Education and how I ran to Walmart to get school supplies and treats for the kids for school lunches and snacks!
This week I am telling you how to take some of those treats and make them into a school project.
If you have bake sales and fund raisers for school why not double the incentive. You know the whole, kill two birds with one stone type thing!
Encourage your parents to buy these products that have box tops on them and use them when you have bake sales that also benefit the school! Seriously it is a win-win in my opinion! And the best part is that Walmart has Bonus Box Tops offers on select General Mills® products!
When I lived in NC we were not allowed to bake for kids classrooms because of kids who might have allergies. For a food blogger who loves to make desserts I was so disappointed that I couldn’t make something and take it into my kids classroom.
Well now that I live in IN we can! You guys I was doing a silent happy dance! I can now send off my treats to the school and allow others to enjoy it! I am super excited about this!.
Now about these treats. They are like rice crispy treats only with a different cereal and some peanut butter added, so you know they must be good and of course super easy to make! ENJOY!
