Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Brussel Sprouts trimmed and large ones cut in half
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ¼ cup Parmesan grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 clove Fresh garlic minced
  • Crispy cooked Bacon optional and more parmesan for garnish

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl add trimmed Brussel sprouts and season with salt, pepper, onion powder along with 1 tablespoon oil.
  • IF your Air Fryer preheats then: Preheat air fryer to 400 Fahrenheit according to manufacturer instructions.
  • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with vegetable oil (not essential and you can get away with only 1 tablespoon of oil that was added to Brussel sprouts before but spraying does ensure better cooking and a more crisp texture in the end) and add the vegetables.
  • Air fry for 5 minutes, shake and gently stir, add parmesan and fry for another 5-6 minutes until charred and crisp. If using fresh garlic add it here now.
  • IF you didn't preheat your air fryer you may need to add an additional 5 minutes.
  • Serve with more parmesan or bacon on top.
