Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup jalapeño diced
  • 1 1/2 cups sharp cheddar cheese shredded

Instructions

  • Heat oven to 400°F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Whisk egg and water in small bowl, set aside.
  • Unfold pastry sheet on lightly floured surface. Roll out to into 9x13 rectangle. Brush with egg wash. Set aside.
  • In small bowl add cream cheese, jalapeño peppers and cheddar cheese. Mix together.
  • Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over puff pastry.
  • Starting from the longer side, roll up tightly into a log shape.
  • Cut into 12 slices. Lay flat on baking sheet. Brush with egg mixture.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve and enjoy!
