Peppermint Chocolate Dipped Pretzels

These Peppermint Chocolate Dipped Pretzels are an easy last minute treat! A delicious sweet and salty snack!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 4 candy canes crushed
  • 3 cups pretzels

Instructions

  • Over a double boiler melt the chocolate chips until smooth. Keep warm.
  • To dip half the pretzel, slow dip into the chocolate and shake off excess. Place on parchment paper.
  • If you use a fork to coat each pretzel in chocolate, place pretzel in chocolate, then tap the fork against the side of the bowl to remove excess chocolate. Place parchment paper.
  • Top each pretzel with crushed candy cane or peppermint candy.
  • Allow to set and dry.

Notes

A fast way to dry your pretzels is to place your pretzels lined with parchment paper on a cookie sheet and place in freezer for 10 minutes.
