Ooey-gooey Chocolate Chip Caramel Cookies! Using a basic cookie recipe with a caramel stuffed inside for a delicious cookie!

Ingredients

  • 2 ¼ cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • ½ cup butter melted
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 14 caramel candies

Instructions

  • Whisk together flour, baking soda and cornstarch. Set aside for now.
  • Mix together melted butter and sugars.

  • Carefully, add the dry ingredients to the mixture.

  • Stir in chocolate chips.

  • Cover and chill the dough for at least 1 hour.
  • Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.
  • Scoop approximately 2 Tbsp of the dough and flatten in your hand.  Place a caramel in the middle and fold the dough around.
  • Place 4 - 5 balls on a prepared baking sheet. Do not over-crowd, the cookies will flatten.
  • Cook for approximately 12-13 minutes. Remove and let cool on the baking sheet.
  • Serve and ENJOY!
