Instant Pot Mashed Sweet Potatoes (with Cinnamon)

Easy Instant Pot Mashed Sweet Potatoes flavored with cinnamon and nutmeg! A creamy, easy side dish!

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds sweet potatoes
  • 1 cup low sodium vegetable broth
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • dried sage

Instructions

  • Add sweet potatoes to instant pot. Then add broth.
  • Hit manual button on instant pot and set for 10 minutes. Close lid. Make sure valve is set to seal position. (will take almost 10 minutes to come to pressure)
  • When timer is done turn valve to quick release. (Watch out for hot steam)
  • Open pressure cooker and mash the potatoes.
  • Add butter and stir.
  • Add cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. Continue to mash until creamy.
  • Sprinkle with dried sage.
  • Serve warm and ENJOY!
