Ingredients
1poundstrawberrieshulled and halved
1/2lemonjuiced (about 2-3 tablespoons)
2cupsbrewed decaffeinated black teacooled
3tablespoonssimple syrup
ice
Instructions
Add strawberries, lemon juice, tea and simple syrup into blender.
Blend for 1-2 minutes.
Strain mixture to remove pulp. (If you like pulp you can skip this step but the mixture will be very thick.
Pour over ice and ENJOY!
Notes
TO MAKE SIMPLE SYRUP: in microwavable dish microwave 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water for 2 minutes. Stir till sugar is dissolved. May store in air tight contain in refrigerator for 1-2 weeks.
Make sure strawberries, tea and simple syrup are cold.
Add more simple syrup if you prefer a sweeter taste.
This can be 1 day in advance. Whisk together the mixture before pouring over ice.
