Ingredients

butter - softened

light brown sugar

baking powder

chocolate chips
Garnish: sprinkle of sea salt
Instructions
Mix together softened butter and brown sugar.
Add vanilla and 2 eggs. Mix until you have a smooth texture.
Add dry ingredients. Mix until just combined. Then stir in chocolate chips.
Refrigerate dough for at least 1 hour before baking (up to 24 hrs).
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Roll dough into balls and place on a prepared baking sheet. (I prefer to use an ice cream scoop, to have uniform cookies).
Bake for approximately 10-11 minutes.
Remove and top each cookie with a sprinkle of sea salt. Let cool on a wire rack.
