Creamy Broccoli and Ham Bucatini

Ingredients

  • 1 12 ounce box Barilla® Collezione Bucatini
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 8 ounce package frozen broccoli
  • 1 1/2 cups deli ham chopped

Instructions

  • In a large pot add water and bring to a rolling boil.
  • Add bucatini and cook according to package.
  • In the meantime in a large skillet add butter and melt on medium heat.
  • Slowly add flour and mix.
  • Immediately add milk and continue to mix until smooth.
  • Simmer for 5 minutes until sauce thickens.
  • Add garlic and onion powder to sauce. Stir throughly.
  • In the meantime cook broccoli according to package. Allow to cool and chop.
  • When pasta is done, drain and return to pot.
  • Pour over pasta the white sauce, broccoli and ham. Stir throughly. Serve warm and ENJOY!
