Chocolate Glazed Almond Donuts

Ingredients

  • 2 England's Best eggs
  • 1 teaspoon LorAnn Bakery Almond Emulsion
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup slivered almonds

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Spray 6 piece donut pan with non stick cooking spray.
  • In medium bowl whisk together eggs, maple syrup and almond emulsion.  
  • In small bowl sift together flours and baking soda. Whisk into egg mixture.
  • Pipe into donut pan. Bake for 10 minutes. Allow to cook for 3 minutes.
  • In medium sauce pan add whipping cream and allow it to heat up just until a boil. Take off heat. Add in chocolate chips and stir until incorporated.
  • Dip donuts into chocolate and allow to set for 3-5 minutes. Sprinkle with slivered almonds and ENJOY!
