Mix the butter and brown sugar until fluffy.
Add egg and vanilla extract into bowl.
In separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, salt, and cornstarch.
Slowly combine dry ingredients into wet ingredients.
Stir in chopped pecans, chocolate chips, and caramel pieces.
Cover and chill dough in refrigerator for 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 350℉.
Roll dough in small balls and place on prepared baking sheet
Bake for 10-12 minutes.
Remove and let cool.
