We love a good no bake dessert that requires minimal heat to make! Which is a plus! These are perfect for getting the whole family involved in making these desserts!
We are no strangers to oreo desserts around here! One of the most popular ones is this spring oreo ice cream cake! Another great no bake dessert!
HOW TO MAKE COOKIES AND CREAM MOUSSE!
Ingredients:
36 Oreo Cookies: This is about one package of regular Oreo cookies. I haven’t tried this with double stuffed.
Heavy cream: I used heavy whipping cream, full fat. This is my preferred cream when making any kind of whipped cream.
Pure vanilla extract: This just adds a little nice touch to the taste of the whipping cream.
Powdered sugar (optional): Originally this was going to be added as an ingredient but honestly I thought it made the cream too sweet. We don’t like overly sweet desserts so I removed it. Feel free to do either way you like.
Reddi-whip (optional): We always have this in our refrigerator so it’s great for topping the mousse with.
Directions:
- Open and remove the cream of each Oreo. Place cream in mixing bowl.
- Place cookies in large ziplock bag, leaving aside 4 cookie halves for decorating. Crush the cookies. Add 2-3 tablespoons of crusted cookies on the base of each serving glass.
- Add heavy cream and vanilla to mixing bowl. Whip until smooth and fluffy.
- Fold in the remaining crushed cookies to the cream. Stir till combined.
- Divide the mousse between serving glasses.
- Top with reddi-whip. Top with crushed cookies.
- Serve and ENJOY!
NOTES:
Using the powdered sugar is completely optional. You can taste your mousse before you add the crushed cookies to see if you need any added sweetness. The reddi-whip is optional too but we love it!
These last for a few days in the refrigerator so they can be made in advanced. I would hold off on putting the reddi-whip on till you are ready to serve.

Can you have this mouse as a whipped topping? Or will it be stiff enough?
The Bitter Side of Sweet
Hi Nyah, I’m not sure it will be stiff enough. If you decide to experiment, let me know how it goes!
