Can I tell you something? I really haven’t done that much baking since we moved. Why is that? Well because for the first three weeks we had 2 different people bring us 3 dozen cookies each and one brought 2 dozen. Now that is a total of 8 dozen which means we had 96 cookies in our home. Seriously that is a lot of cookies!!
Was this a dilemma? Not really, but I needed to make a dessert for a get together with some of my hubby’s colleagues. And sometimes it is great to have a sweet treat that is quick and easy to put together but also looks and taste amazing! Sara Lee has some frozen desserts that can help you out and are conveniently located in the frozen food section of your local Walmart store.
Lucky for me I had this classic cheesecake in my freezer because I had a couple of kiddos who had been feeling under the weather and I really had no time for baking. What I did do was take some ingredients that I had on hand at home and spruced this baby up!
I added some pecans, chocolate chips, whipped cream and caramel. Need I say more? Really add those toppings together and you have one delicious cheesecake on your hands! How would you customize your cheesecake?

Wow, that’s a LOT of cookies! What a nice welcoming from your neighbors! And what a fun and easy way to spruce up cheesecake. Love that caramel! : )

Wow, those are some good neighbors! It sounds as though you had cookies for weeks. Turtles have been a weakness of mine for many years, so this cheesecake sounds heavenly to me.
