We absolutely LOVE to make marshmallow treats with cereal! The possibilities are endless! Like these s’mores marshmallow treats or these fruity marshmallow treats!
THIS POST WAS UPDATED FEBRUARY 28, 2018, if you would like to see the original photo scroll to the bottom!
So I think you guys should try this. It is a fast snack and they will think you are like the best parent ever because it is better than store bought.
My daughter went to school and her friend offered her a store bought treat made with this cereal. Her friend also asked her if she ever tried it before? She said “yes, my mom has made them!” Her friend then says “your mom makes everything!”
I was thinking YOU GOT IT and I’m proud of it!
How to make them?
- 3 cups Lucky Charms Cereal
- 1 cup Rice Krispies Cereal
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 10 ounce bag marshmallows
- Next you want to melt the butter, add the marshmallows and cereal and stir. Then place in pan and wait for them to set!
What is your favorite cereal? I’d love to experiment making different treats with different cereals!
My daughter says these are just like cereal bars! Score! Because that was exactly what I was going for! ENJOY!

Those new photos are so bright and inviting!
Lucky Charms are my toddler’s favorite cereal, too. In fact, my 2yo just dumped out the entire contents of a Family Size box onto my kitchen floor. I saves as much as I could and put it into a plastic container, which I left on my stove when the oven was preheating. So not only did the cereal go from questionable with some floor dirt that won’t kill them to absolutely not a chance plastic poisoning..
Good thing I had a back up St. Patty’s day recipe(s) up my sleeve for this year!
I will be making these someday, though, and when I do, I’m coming back to your post!

I love this recipe, and my kids would be over the moon if I made these. They were recently gifted a 1 lb. bag of the marshmallows (compliments of Grandma) and are now obsessed. Great treat for the kids for St. Patty’s Day.
